I can’t make this stuff up – Abel Maldonado, who engages in a ritual every budget season called “What’s my Price” – introduced himself to the Lt. Governor’s race in December 2009.
His consultant – Patrick Dornison – is a the poster child of what a RINO is. Dorinson was a lifelong Democrat until re-registering to run Arnold’s campaign in 2003.
He introduces Abel Maldonado to the Lt. Governor’s race by slamming the Republican activist base.
Meanwhile, on the floor of the Assembly, when round one failed to get Maldo in to the Lt. Governor’s office – one Principled Che’ Guevarra disciple, Jose Solorio lit Maldonado up in a Sgt. York-esque fashion. (I wish I had the video)
Yet – the Republican Leadership are supporting this guy’s confirmation. Stop Abel Now! (Call your Assemblyman NOW!)

The concept of there being an Orange-Placer Axis is preposterous.
I would recommend Keith Richman to be the caretaker. He was one of the first legislators to sound the alarm on the pension bomb that was going to bite California in the arse.
Hmmm… Richman, one step better than Maldo.
