County Lobbyists used to have to register with the Registrar of Voters. That was abolished when the County Electeds negotiated the TINCUP ordinance.

Everyone knows carpetbagger Dunn is going to run for Janet’s First Dist seat and this is his kick off, by getting his name in the papers with this now. He could careless about this issue, go back and check out his fund raising efforts when he was running for First District–he gladly took money from every Lobbyist and their clients in OC. He is just so bitter he lost to Nguyen.

Hey Joe, good luck getting anyone to help you fund raise after putting this out there, you are done in OC. After all, that’s how you get elected in OC, not stunts like this.

One of the points we addressed is how to treat union bosses like Wayne Quint and Nick Berardino who are always pestering the 3rd and 5th Floors for concessions; and the answer is to treat them like the lobbyists they are.

There are a few small issues to be ironed out, but it’s high time to shine the maglite on the magg, er, the influence peddlers.

At the very least the Board should appoint an ad hoc committee to iron out the details and present a proposal.
