Larry answered your comment quite well. Let me add that Nelson is a professional musician and that he has performed at numerous fine venues in the OC.

I hired him to play at the holiday dinner of one of my trade organizations this year. I know he will do a great job!

Nelson regularly plays at local restaurants and churches in Huntington Beach. He also puts on conciertos at the Huntington Beach Central Library.

Although I have yet to hear Vern play the word is that he truly has talent.
And no, the ad is not a spoof.
As to his “performance gigs” that is a private matter for which Vern may or not respond to your input which by the way is truly off the thread of his post.

Say what? With a combined income of well over $250,000, four kids in private Catholic schools, house in the hills above the tennis club, living in the best Tustin school district, and they are in need of a handout?
