It’s not condescending. It’s a fact. Many of you have the mentality that a Mexican person is supposed to be poor. If they’re not, then they are suspect and they must be put back in their “place.” This mentality comes from Spanish colonization and the Catholic Church.

Sanchez has a voting record that is more liberal than Raul Grijalva, head of the Progressive Caucus. Yet you guys trash her and call her a Republican. Based on what? Not her voting record. It’s based on the fact that she is economically successful.

I have read enough of these posts to know that you guys also hate her because she is a single woman who has no children. Mexican culture is very sexist, and you guys hate that in your eyes she is a non-traditional woman.

Hello— it is time to earn the LATINO VOTE, Team Sancheez.

The problem isn’t that Sanchez got to the top, but rather that once she arrived she quickly forgot how she got there – and who helped her win.

There is no good reason for Sanchez to disavow the Dream Act. Oh she cries about the plight of Vietnamese people – in Vietnam – but could care less about young Latino students here in this country.

Sanchez is really no better than a Republican when it comes to the plight of her own people. She climbed up their backs and forgot about them.
