Wierd, if you are a politician and currently serving in office, you can lie through your teeth as Trish and Ury do constantly. When Connie or her signature gatherers tell people things that are fact, (people tell me all the time ‘it must be true I read it in the paper’), everything she said during the campaign has been printed. But I guess she is held to a higher standard than the council is. What else is new?

Lee. Can I help you out? This is not Connie’s story nor Connies blog.
While she does read our posts don’t assume that in the heat of the battle that she has time to take every question from Juice readers in addition to all of her other campaign efforts.
I did see her at 7 a.m. with a dozen other concerned citizens at Alicia and Muirlands. Covering all four corners with a dozen different recall or vote for Dale Tyler banners were men and women waving to motorists who honked their approval of the cause by blowing their horns or giving a thumbs up as they headed to the freeway.

You want to be informed as people ask you about candidates judges and propositions?

Do you know that COX did not invite either of the two recall candidates nor Lance to be on that program where, at the last minute, they changed the format?
Stay tuned. If it aires I will provide the real agenda of that bogus taping.

Connie Lee, I think your e-mail got deleted and for some reason I had your phone number wrong. My question is why has the Yes for Recall cancell and refused to attend the Cox Forum to debate the issues? I have and am reading everything I can including the Saddleback News on this issue to inform people that ask me about candidates, judges and propositions. So I like to be informed

Good for you mystery person. I am impressed. You have a friend in the DA’s office. I know his sister in-law Judy. So what! This post is about an allegation against Dave Leckness that I have pursued in covering this recall election.
Let me now update you and our Juice readers. I just concluded a phone discussion with our chief of police services and sent him the email response from the plaintiff, to use that legal term.
So Mr big shot. I have passed the baton to the proper authorities and will wait, like everyone else, to see where it ends up. Say good bye!

For your information this post was written by me. Are you assuming that Connie Lee sits in front of her computer 24/7 awaiting comments on the Orange Juice blog when she is engaged in the recall that will occur in 48 days? Get real.

We shall have to wait and see if she is found guilty of breaking any laws. Our chief of police services has undertaken an investigation and has not shared his results with me nor any other member of the press. Did Lt. Gavin give you a call?
If so, please fill us in with his outcome.

You (and Connie) still didn’t answer my question. Can she still serve? Speaking of the deafening silence, Larry how about you reporting on the investigation since Connie has already been interviewed and she did admit publicly to having people outside the city gather signatures. What is going on from your investigative perspective since you were in no way involved with this group? You seem to have a good inside on this kind of stuff. Sorry, forgot this is supposed to be about Connie and being appointed to serve as City Chair by the OCGOP to help get votes but with the allegations made I would hope they would reconsider based on the known facts as they have been presented and she even admitted breaking the law by paying someone under the table and then having non-Mission Viejo voters obtain signatures on a city recall which is (based on the law) illegal. The silence from city hall since the Dec 7th meeting is deafening. Was Connie subpoenaed to appear before any court? Was she charged with any crime and found guilty? Me thinks you are too anxious. Get a grip and let the investigation play out before erecting the gallows next to Santa’s house. Do me a favor. Be sure to add your final thoughts after the Feb 2nd recall of Lance.
We look forward to your comments on the outcome. Regardless of the election results I will be posting that final summary.

Can you still hold this position once you are convicted of voter fraud for doing illegal activities when it came to hiring and getting signatures for the recall? You spent sooo much of your own money on the recall you might as well pay the $270K for the special election if it can’t be stopped in time because of your groups illegal ways of obtaining votes, i.e., paying someone under the table so he can still collect his unemployment money, having signature gathers from outside the city get signatures for a city recall process, etc, etc.
