Right now government funds cannot be used to pay for abortions. If you will read a little further in paragraph 4B it states "based on the law as in effect as of the date that is 6 months before the beginning of the plan year involved." Just in case you don't understand that, it means that funds will be used only if the law changes 6 months prior to the plan year in question. Also, everyone will be required to have coverage. Those that cannot afford it will be subsidized. Try looking at the whole picture and not creating this sensational misinformation. I'm betting that those who are against this bill already have insurance and have never been denied coverage for some bogus reason by their provider. I suppose we could do nothing and keep allowing health sector corporations to keep jacking with our coverage and jacking up our premiums. That's what the republicans want. Who do you think finances the misinformation factories like the Heritage Foundation? The same corporations that have the red party in their pocket.

August.
Are you proposing that anyone wishing to have a child must have a predetermined IQ?
What next?

They should allow abortions past the third trimester for those that are for bringing children into a bad environment. The government should also require it for all the people with IQ less than 40 that are popping out children like John and Kate. Why is this a debate, until people stop having sex when they can’t afford children, or are not responsible enough to have them, abortion should be thought of as a good thing. I have 2 children myself and I am a single father who has enough responsibility to raise my children. But, the parents of the children that stole my hubcaps last week should have realized that their welfare reformed children were going to be criminals by environment. Hopefully, they keep abortion in this bill.

Brother Vern. Hello! "Permits abortion"
I didn't write this Bill. In fact, I am under the impression that no Rebublicans had their fingerprints on it or its text.
Therefore we shall sit on the sideline and await the outcome of the vote.

Citing Roe v. Wade and the extreme slope we've slipped since its passage, nowhere does this suggest that those opposed should have to pay for it. This proposed legislation does just that.

"Permits abortions" - that's terrible! Haven't they heard of Roe V. Wade, which has been the settled law of the USA for decades, and prohibits... oh, wait, right. It permits abortions.
