Agranistas evasive over Great Park billing

Adam Probolksy highlights Jeff Galloway’s recent questioning a Great Park staff over millions in dollars in billing. Adam wrote:

Finance Commissioner Jeffrey Lalloway expressed concern over the vague nature of contractor time sheets and invoices saying, “We could have overpaid by millions of dollars. I want to make sure the city got what we paid for.” Some invoices had no explanation at all for full eight-hour days or 40-hour weeks. The auditor even said he could not determine whether individual contractors double-billed for their time. Morgan explained, “On an hour by hour basis I cannot tell you what that individual did when they put down ‘planning’.”

Every time I have pried into Great Park invoicing I have found egregious billing and poor controls.   Good for Jeff for shining a light on this cesspool of money and influence,  and good for Adam for using his regular column to help Jeff get the word out.
