OC also elected a Democrat to the BOS about 6 years ago. Lou Correa.
And today, the county overall is less Republican that it has been in recent memory.

No antagonism intended in this question, just trying to take the pulse. Here goes – do you people think OC is ready to elect a Democrat (Daly and Galloway are both Dem’s as I understand it) to the Board of Supervisors? It happened 35 years or so ago, but today?

If Daly is running I’d be worried if I was him. When he speaks he’s whimmpy, he hates confrontation and is a horrible leader. Dems dont need him and Reps dont want him. Galloway all the way.

I like that there are strong women candidates, but I’m all for Galloway owning Daly in this race.

I believe that Daly is Running, I was at a meeting where he was speaking. He will be a strong candidate that will likely get both Republican and Democratic votes.

This will be and interesting race to watch develop.

“True representation”? By someone who’s carpetbagging in from Anaheim Hills?

As a downtown Anaheim resident, I’ll be interested in hearing Galloway detail her “successes at the city level”, because I sure can’t think of any.
