The bee in my bonnet is Sen. Ensign’s parents gift to his former mistress and husband for $96K and placing the son of the mistress on the senator’s payroll. Why isn’t anyone making a fuss about this?

Chip just emailed me to say that he had the post in question pulled down. I am relieved.

It never should have been posted. I would prefer to debate the Red County Republicans on the issues we raise here with regularity. Too bad they usually resort to anon bomb-throwing instead.

I was a Republican my whole life until I finally got sick of the OC GOP and the Red County Republicans. They have destroyed their party.

It is ironic that the Red County publisher, Chip Hanlon, came on here this Sunday to rip us and call us a podunk blog. And now his blog has an entire diary devoted to attacking not our politics but rather our personal lives.

What a bunch of sniveling red cowards.

We shall continue to do what we do best – expose the hypocrisy of these red sellouts, even at risk of personal harm.

After all these years the real patriots in this country are still fighting the redcoats…
