It’s not really safe anymore. This year, my classroom was broken into several times. I went to work many mornings and the handle on my door was bent and hit with a sledge hammer. I couldn’t even get into the classroom. Of course, no one was around to assist me (not even the custodian) could get me into the room, but we continue to have 8 assistant superintendents, but 1 guy on call to help in times like these?
