We have known Norm Westwell for many years.
He would absolutely make an improvement if elected
to the city councel, He is well educated for this position and is well known for the many ways he has made so many differences to support Huntington Beach . We are proud to support him in this decision because it is the right decision to help Huntington Beach.

Norm is one of those amazing people everyone wants at their dinner party and on their board of directors. He is sharp, witty, intelligent, and motivated by getting things done. He is a motivator and a connector.

If you have a chance to hear him speak, I highly recommend it. There are videos of him engaging the City Council as a citizen that are amazingly funny and poignant at the same time. As a school board trustee, he has been known for his innovative responses to needs.

Norm learned from one parent's complaint that the libraries were neglected, and lacking shelves. There was no room in the budget to increase funding. Unlike most board members who limit their responsibilities to seat warming, Norm went out and found donations in the community. Specificly, he found free bookshelves on Craig's List. He does stuff like this all the time.

Innovative people rarely seek to serve their communities and Huntington Beach is going to thrive with Norm working for them. It's enough to make me jealous...

Fixing the problem rather than dismissing it is how Norm Westwell helps make me an:
