A true Libertarian might say:

"If you don't want an abortion, don't have one".

There is some sensibilty there, regardless of personal views.

#6,

LOL! I had no idea that a Libertarian rating group existed. Nor do I recall ever saying that I joined the Libertarian Party to curry anyone's favor. In fact I delayed joining them until after my Council race was over.

Planned Parenthood endorsed me because we are in agreement on many issues, whereas my Council opponent, Carlos Bustamante, is allied with a plethora of Talibani types. "That's all there is to it."

Art is a phony Libertarian. He only joined because he thinks it makes Steve Greenhut and Tony Bushala like him more.

Planned Parenthood endorsed Art's council candidacy last year. So he's more interested in towing their line than being a Libertarian. That's all there is to it.

There's PRO-LIFE and PRO-ABORTION. "Pro-Choice" doesn't exist as the innocent unborn child that is about to be murdered doesn't get a "Choice" or a trail by a jury of his/her peers before being put to death in a most grusome manner.

So let me understand your position...

If you are FOR allowing someone to pay for their own abortion, but NOT use MY money, that's NOT pro-choice.

Pro Choice only exists as allowing abortions AND public funding...

Okey Dokey Art.

Interesting Art,

You've taken one of the few areas the Libertarian Party actually follows the majority opinion in this country and argue vehemently against it.

Planned Parenthood enjoys $336.7 million in government grants and contracts, representing one-third of their annual budget (American Life League). Planned Parenthood Federation President, Cecile Richards, receives nearly $1 million annual compensation (Washington Times) while teachers and librarians are being laid-off, music programs are being cut, and families go without healthcare!

Additionally, Planned Parenthood affiliates here in California, allegedly over-charged our state by at least $180 million dollars as described in this recent LA Times article. According to Victor Gonzalez, former vice president of finance and administration of the Los Angeles affiliate, he was fired for questioning Planned Parenthood's "illegal accounting, billing and donation practices". Planned Parenthood bought contraceptives at a discounted rate and then billed the state Medi-Cal program for 12 or more times the purchase price. An audit of the San Diego/Riverside Planned Parenthood clinic found $5 million in over billing charges in just two years. Very clearly, Planned Parenthood does not deserve our hard-earned taxpayer dollars!

So what are you saying Art? Minority veiwpoints and fiscal insanity are all the rage now???

Sorry Art, read your own article again. It states quite clearly that only 39% of voters felt abortion should be available to anyone who wanted one. No math to do there.

Want one and have the public pay? 39%.

Its quite clear the Ba'athi minority is trying to shove its agenda down the throats of the majority.

Since government funding of any kind for abortion is against the Libertarian platform, can you clear up this agenda of yours for our readers?
