“Former Orange County Sheriff Mike Carona was sentenced today to 5 ½ years in federal prison by a judge who said his crime had brought shame to the county and victimized the people he was sworn to serve. U.S. District Judge Andrew Guilford also ordered Carona to pay a $125,000 fine within one year,” according to the O.C. Register.
Gracias a Dios! How many times will Mikey drop the soap at inopportune times in the next five and a half years? He went from being the biggest harasser in the U.S. to being the number one target in jail.

Wow..Judge Guilford did not let the residents of Orange County down! I, too would have liked for him to get more time; but at least Judge Guilford did not even consider probation.
It’s a shame that Carona is going to a Federal playground…Carona should be sent to a State pen so he can see what’s it’s like to be Bubba’s or Chuy’s bitch…
The best was the following: “I believe the Bureau of Prisons will protect Mr. Carona,” Guilford said during the sentencing hearing, “just as Carona protected inmates under his care.”
Art, now that the Carona mess is finally over, would it be asking too much for the creators, perpetrators, co-conspirators, and enablers of Carona to at least apologize for foisting this convicted and sentenced felon on Orange County?

Actually, Art, I think you’re only partially correct. I believe John Lewis and his operatives – like our old pal “Jubal” – are going to start the drumbeat for Walters very soon. They’ve been subtly going after Hutchens since her appointment.
The 2010 Sheriff campaign could turn out to be very interesting.

Could we please skip the unimportant stuff like, “who will be the next sheriff” and focus on the important stuff, like ” who will Carona see during his conjugal visits: his wife or his mistress?”
