And one more thing: do you imply that people who didn’t lose money last year are better economists?
If so, anybody who doesn’t own a house and who didn’t invest in the stock market would know more about economic issues than you.
If you didn’t mean to say that, your statement is completely without meaning, in other words, completely senseless.
Nice try, though… Just like Prop. 13, tried and was a failure.

Yeah, and? He still has more clue about these things than you. And he still knows more about how bad Prop 13 is than you.
In fact, if Arnold had listened to him when he was running, he would most likely not have the budget problems he has today.
And your “challenge” is of course bogus and nothing more than a red herring. I don’t fall for such cheap shots. Better luck next time.

Stop dancing. You are avoiding my challenge. Nice try however.
Please justify the 31% increase in our General Fund when CA population only increased around 3% in the data and tim eframe which I found and posted.
You might also check out my latest post on HJTA’s plan to oppose the May 19th Special Election relating to the proposed tax increase.

Maybe we are not talking about the same thing Joe,

In Santa Ana where I be, our local taxes pay for the police and fire departments, so these tax increases for the state won’t affect local public safety.

All I said was close the special interest loop-holes, and collect that tax instead.

And I said that the legislators needed to cut their excessive perks.

I am not sure what you mean by “tax cuts” I didn’t know there were cuts, I thought it was increases in taxes, borrowing and service cuts. (Pay more tax for less service)

But if paying more in taxes and getting less in service is your great dream? Knock yourself out, you have my permission to give the state all of your saving and assets and monies.

Enjoy less, you’ve earned it.

Even Warren Buffett stated that Prop. 13 was a bad thing.
That man knows a bit about money. Quite a bit more than you, I assert.
Prop. 13 was a disaster and is to a large extent the cause of the budget crisis.
Putting your head in the sand doesn’t change that.
Eventually you guys have to face reality.

The little one: Move to Santa Ana. You can see here first-hand what it means to have a police force that is underfunded. A “spending problem”… Yeah right. If you want to cut taxes, start in your own community. Get rid of police, firefighters, schools in your community. Then you may have a point. Until then, you are just all hat and no cattle. But we knew that already.

Joe’s original post was “spot on”. These so called activists that worked to recall Gray Davis and (with the help of NBC, Clear Channel and Wealthy car dealers) got what they wanted. Governor Schwarznegger.

The lesson to be learned is you can’t take back your vote, it is a privledge rife with responsibility. It says a lot about a person who watched Arnold, host demolition derby’s, yell about “blowing up the boxes”, or my favoriteuse his own money to finance his political carreer.

EDUCATE YOURSELVES. Oh yeahm, and watch how John and Ken abandon this guy like rats on a sinking ship.

It is of course typical for clueless Republicans like you to want tax cuts, but immediately starting to scream for more police and more prisons if there is yet another shooting.
