One thing consistent about Janet is her vigorous defense of her own self-interest. She will attack any threat to her ambitions, regardless of the consequence to her constituents. keep a close eye on her and you will see what a sneaky, underhanded person she really is.

Janet should have recused herself from this vote. There is a clear conflict of interest here. Can this vote be redone? or can supervisor nguyen be reprimanded for her not recusing herslef?

Anyone who eats out these days is risking their life no matter what the health department does. There are no restaurants that put the health of the customer over the profitability of the restaurant.

If they don’t kill you with improper food handling and storage they will kill you with saturated fat, obscene calorie counts and enormous servings. Show me a person who eats out four or more times a week and I’ll show you someone with health problems directly related to eating out.

Why hasn’t there been a follow-up inspection since the violations were reported on July 10, 2008?

Has someone at the county told the Health Care Agency to back off?

Has Supervisor Nguyen been using her office to protect her husbands business?

These are questions I would like to see answered.

Art’s right — Nguyen should have back off on this vote. She’s been disappointing a lot of people of late, and this is one more example of her drift to the dark side.
