		<description>#3 -

1) Art never planned on voting for McSame.

2) He is DTS, so even if he was supporting Obama, it was far from a solid commitment.

3) He has been flirting with the Barr/Root ticket for a couple of months now, so this is actually no surprise.

Get your facts straight.

<description>We&#039;ve given up so many of our liberties as emergencies measures, that our children have no recollection of ever having them.

The Federal Reserve hasn&#039;t stabilized the economy. But Americans cannot own property fully, nor possess gold.

Being police of the world hasn&#039;t made us safer but rather has brought enemies to our gates.

The war on drugs hasn&#039;t protected our children, but evolved our society to accept twelve foot high fences around schools, metal detectors at their doors, drug sniffing dogs in the halls and armed police filling the roll of dean of discipline.

Who could ever believe that Americans one day would call warrantless wiretaps, sneak and peak searches, spurning Habeas Corpus, and media manipulation acts of patriotism?

Old, intractable, Libertarians once thought of as paranoid kooks, are proving to be prophets. The American way has been forgotten by the Democrats and repudiated by the Republicans. For the voter who loves America, freedom, equality and peace, there is only one party left to turn to.

That is why I am:

ALIVE * FREE * HAPPY

<description>Well, now you&#039;ve changed your support for Presidential candidates twice. There&#039;s still time to do it again once or twice.</description>

		<description>Art -

It&#039;s interesting that you say that Obama is too far left on fiscal matters, because my gripe with him is actually that he isn&#039;t really saying much about the specifics of his plans.

More empty suit platitudes? Well, yeah, why not? There&#039;s a Republican in the White House and a perception that Democrats are better stewards of the economy, so why provide details to the people when you can just ride that wave into the White House?
