I remember when he came to the Santa Anita board meeting to ask for their endorsement. The 1st thing he said is does everyone here speak English, because I do not speak Spanish. We all said yes, then Roy asked him why he was late? He said that he was babysitting. Then Roy Alvarado said are you sure, that you can handle a council seat with your responsibilities at home? He stated yes. I asked him about the project on Jackson ($$$million dollar homes), and he said he was all for redevelopment, and ridding the neighborhood of blight and crime. I then asked him where are all the people going to go? He said to other cities where the cost of living is lower. I then said do you think that those cities (Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, garden grove)are going to like the idea? He said than they can go to Riverside. I said and why should they have to leave their homes that they have bought and paid off, I was so angry I got up and left. He reminded me of some of the ungrateful children of so many immigrants that I was raised with. I am not saying that they are all like that, I remember one neighbor that her kids would hide from her because they did not want the English speaking kids to see or know that was their mother, I felt ashamed for them. I would never think of doing that to my mother or father. At least Claudia is not embarrassed of her roots. I doubt that Carlos or his twin brother acknowledge their family members in public nor Pulido for that matter.

I guess Art, Gustavo, Carlos Bustamontes’s name says it all (Latin Translation Lover of Bust) how would he know of water bras unless he himself has tried it or he knows of someone that uses a water bra, what a disappointment for a Bustamontes.

They always say there is a crazy twin and a sane twin which one is he? I have heard stories about the space cadet, is that where he gets the name space cadet? or is it his twin. I always say, that if I don’t see it with my own eyes or have the black and white then I can’t say what I don’t know. But it is food for thought? LOL

Who knows? Carlos is a Bush Republican. That is not exactly a popular position in Santa Ana. I think he IS beatable, but we need a candidate. I don’t know why the DPOC is ignoring this opportunity to take out a really bad Republican.
