You should because as a teenager, the future Harvard graduate actually did something that made a difference in the lives of ordinary law abiding citizens of GG. She (with the help of constitutional lawyers) held the police department accountable for their practice of photographing citizens without their permission (and without probable cause) and placing them into "gang" files. Because of her actions, good people like you and me are less likely to be harassed by those who are paid to protect and to serve the community.
