Attention knuckle-dragging Republican hacks! Red County needs YOU! Matt “Jubal” Cunningham has put up a post over at the Red County OC Blog indicating that he wants to sign up more bloggers for his Red-faced blog team. He says he is looking for Center-Right bloggers, but trust me what he really means is Hard Right bloggers.
I imagine that Cunningham has some openings over at the Red County 909 blog, as his boy Adam Aleman was recently arrested for six felonies. So if you know anyone in San Bernardino who hates immigrants and gays and likes to get Republicans elected so he can get jobs and handouts, be sure to pass this info. along.

You may be center-right, and you know I like you on a personal basis, but your blog is hard right. Plus I’m willing to bet I know who the ‘defectors’ are and why you didn’t want them. I’ll keep it to myself though. They know who ‘they’ are. So do we.
Seriously though, I wish you luck in building Red County. I know how hard it is to find good bloggers. So does Art since he had to settle for the likes of us. 😛

I even wrote a few audition posts, one making the case for Mike Carona as the greatest OC sherrif since Theo Lacy, one recommending Dana Rohrabacher for a Human Rights Champion award from Amnesty International, a third one lambasting Michelle Obama as “uppity” and a fourth one showing clearly how legalizing gay marriage will lead to marriage between dogs and fire hydrants, making the job of firefighters nearly impossible and causing irreparable harm to both our moral fabric and our infrastructure. And THEN I spent six weeks harassing Muslim UCI students who were trying to show antiwar films around the county. Why won’t you hire me, Jubal? WHY? Is it my earrings?

Whatever. Who cares? I am very happy with our current blog team. If you want to play footsies with folks who have blogged for us or who blog for us now go right ahead. None of my writers have any contractual obligations to me.
But we all remember what happened to Quang Pham when he went to left the Orange Juice and went to Red County. Someone forgot to tell him not to speak his mind and now he isn’t blogging anywhere…
Why would anyone want to be associated with the Red-faced County blog? They’re a disgusting bunch of lobbyists and corrupt politicians. It’s taken awhile, but people are getting to know them for what they are.
For the record, no one ever tried to censor me at Red County. I left because I got busy. As a matter of fact, Jubal was fine with me blogging for OJ and OC Blog in 2006.
