Democracy may exact a high price, but it is worth it. Nothing is better than freedom. I trust these two new trustees will abide by the law, something the two replaced untrustables did not.

I still think it was a waste of money to spend
$776,000 on a special election when these two
positions were going to be up for election
again in November 2008.

That’s $77,600 per board member per month
for the next 5 months.
I hope they are worth it.

Red. You are correct. I saw many friends at our church BBQ on Sunday who were ecstatic with the outcome. While this is a short and Special Meeting I plan to attend and may blog the meeting if there is any news to share.

There have been tremendouus effort and resources spent on the clean up of CUSD. I applaud the parents and community for the success that they have earned.
